TotalEnergies has pledged to reduce road diesel prices by 8 to 12 cents, falling short of the Prime Minister’s Office expectation of a 12 to 18 cent drop. The energy giant also committed to a larger 20-cent reduction for non-road diesel used by farmers and construction sectors. These measures are linked to the release of strategic fuel stocks aimed at stabilizing market prices.
